The Capital Project

Phase One of the Capital Project began on June 22, 2016 and was completed in November 2016. SHARP Dance Company's 16 Words was the the first production in our newly renovated Theater, and our space has been abuzz with dancers ever since!

The Performance Garage is grateful to the City of Philadelphia for the $500,000 grant provided through the Cultural Corridors Fund, as well as all of our donors who helped make Phase One possible.

We are also pleased that the State of PA awarded us a $1 million grant through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program for Phase Two renovations. We broke ground on December 16, 2019, and renovations were be completed Spring of 2020.
